Padules

Although small, Padules offers many highlights including an exciting natural environment to explore and its whimsical church, which features armchairs made from the trunks of chestnut trees. Visitors to Padules shouldn’t leave without trying the rosé wine made from a traditional recipe. It has about 410 inhabitants.

Traditional festivals in Albuñán are Fiesta de las Flores, Día de San Francisco de Asís, Fiesta de los Emigrantes and Virgen del Rosario.

Zufre

Zufre is described as 'a white village hidden amongst the clouds and nature' and is just an hour's drive north of Seville, in the middle of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche natural park in the province of Huelva. Its population is 1.000. Due to its geographical situation and altitude at 450m, the colder winter months see an average temperature of 10ºC and in summer the average is 25ºC.

The guitar and Spain go together like hand and glove. In fact, Spain was the birthplace of the modern six-string guitar, it being based upon a similar Islamic stringed instrument. The guitar is the multi-voiced accompaniment of choice in the art of flamenco and it adds so much to the emotion and spectacle that fuels this passionate gypsy music.

El Ejido

El Ejido is one of the most popular tourist destinations along the Almerian coast for beaches and sunshine, with an interesting artistic and cultural heritage for visitors to enjoy. The area also offers a rich natural setting in the Reserve of Punta Entinas-Sabinar, a complex of dunes, beaches and lagoons which is home to various, mainly aquatic, birds.

Iglesia de la Anunciación

The Iglesia de la Anunciación was built in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, featuring a wide nave, a Baroque dome, and a three-storey tower. Inside, restored Baroque paintings were uncovered in 2005.

Los Corrales

Los Corrales was originally exploited agriculturally by the Duke of Osuna as the first houses were built looking out onto the stream and the others overlooking the pens. It has about 4,000 inhabitants.

Desert Springs Golf Club

Europe’s first desert course was designed by Peter McEvoy in true Arizona style with about half the grass areas normally found on other courses. There is an abundance of cactus, springs, rocks, water hazards and dry river beds and while the terrain is fairly flat there are many sandstone outcrops.

Hinojosa del Duque

Hinojosa del Duque is home to many monuments of historical and artistic interest, and for this reason it is considered one of the most important sites in northern Córdoba. It has about 6,900 inhabitants.

Paterna del Campo

Paterna del Campo is situated east of the Comarca El Condado. An agricultural village surrounded by worked land and neighbouring Escacena del Campo. It has about 3500 inhabitants.
