History of Velefique

In the eighth century, the Berbers of Queen La Kahima found refuge here, before being Romanized and Christianized like the Spanish from the southeast. From then until the twelfth century, some Mozarabic communities lived here in peace, and many went with King Alfonso “el Batallador” to repopulate the Ebro Valley in 1125-1126.

Fuente Obejuna

Fuente Obejuna is known as the modernist jewel of Córdoba, with the famous early twentieth-century Casa Palacio Cardona the town's most iconic building. It has around 4700 inhabitants.

Conil Bus Services

Conil de la Frontera's bus station was officially opened on the 7th of November 2016. It's construction was overseen and carried out by the Junta de Andalucía ( Andalusian regional government) and the town hall in Conil, with an investment of 1.18 million euros. The station is conveniently located on Avenida Cañada Honda (Av. Cañada Honda.

Costa Ballena Club de Golf, Chipiona

Villafranca

Villafranca de Córdoba has an unusual festival called the Gran Huevada, celebrated on the 14 May, during which thousands of eggs are fried and shared among the community. The town has around 4800 inhabitants.

Boulevard: Sitting on top of the main coast road (in a 3km underpass) is the Boulevard park. Beaches & Promenade: San Pedro has an expansive beach and long seafront promenade with Chiringuitos. Paleochristian Necropolis: Paleochristian Balisilica Church and Necropolis are located in woods near the seafront.

History of La Peza

Since ancient times, La Peza has been a key point on the route connecting the eastern peninsula with the Genil Valley and the Vega de Granada. Its strategic location would have made it an attractive place for early human settlement, as it was more accessible than the route through the entire Sierra Nevada.
