Serrania de Ronda - Two Star Hotels

Hotels El Palmar

An increasingly popular destination for surfers, local Spaniards and foreign tourists alike, El Palmar has a variety of accommodation options. The El Palmar hotels are mostly smaller, family-run guesthouses or hostals situated right on the beach.

Senator Spa Hotel

This hotel has a bright and cheery patio, in traditional Andalucian style, complete with colourful tiles, green plants and a fountain. Rooms, some of which are apartments, are decorated in warm colours, with a 32”LCD TV and tea and coffee tray (junior suites have espresso machines). Interior rooms look onto the patio.

History of Albuñol

The history of the town dates back to the Neolithic period, as attested to by the archaeological remains found in the Bat Cave. These are several skeletons with their grave goods and remains of the clothing in which they were shrouded. These remains were preserved for a time in the National Archaeological Museum and were later transferred in part to the Archaeological Museum of Granada.

Farruquito

Juan Manuel Fernandez Montoya was born in Seville in 1982, son of flamenco singer El Moreno and dancer La Farruca. He is also the grandson of one of the greatest dancers in the history of flamenco, El Farruco, which gives him a flamenco background that is second to none.

Manolo Santana Racquets Club

This club has a total of six courts, and covers all three of the Grand Slam surfaces (hard, clay and grass.) Here you can enjoy playing tennis with amazing views of the Marbella mountainside. There are various activities available for both adults and children including private lessons and tournaments. The Marbella Open is staged here each summer by former French, US and Wimbledon Champion Manolo Santana.
