Lobo Park

Lobo Park - Antequera

Lobo Park is the home to four distinct subspecies of wolf: the Iberian wolf, the European wolf, the Canadian forest wolf, and the Alaskan tundra wolf. Each group resides in large enclosures to facilitate natural behaviours such as social interactions, play, and movement across varied terrain.

The standard guided tour covers a distance of approximately 800 metres and lasts around two and a half hours. The route follows a rustic path with slight inclines. Guided tours are conducted in both English and Spanish and provide visitors with information on wolf behaviour, social structures, and methods of communication. These tours are structured to allow close observation of the animals from designated platforms, allowing a deeper understanding of their instincts and reducing common misconceptions about wolves.

For a more immersive experience, Lobo Park offers "Howl Nights," evening events where guests can listen to the haunting calls of the wolves under the night sky. These events usually require booking.

In addition to the wolf enclosures, the park also features a petting zoo housing domestic animals such as goats and pigs, offering educational opportunities for younger visitors. Additional amenities include a restaurant with terrace views of the nearby Torcal Natural Park and a gift shop.

Lobo Park operates guided tours from Thursday to Sunday and on public holidays, with sessions at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, and 16:30. The park is closed on Wednesdays, December 25th, and January 1st.
