I.T.V. Test in Andalucia

All vehicles in Spain must periodically undergo a technical inspection. There are 50 odd inspection points in Andalucia, with service more readily available in heavily populated areas. The schedule your vehicle is required to follow will depend on the date it was first licensed. Following are the year 2003 schedules for different types of vehicles.

Property for sale in Jimena

Jimena de la Frontera is a classic example of a traditional Andalusian pueblo blanco (white village), with all of the character that one can expect. The village is situated next to the Alcornocales Natural Park to the west, with open fields and green spaces of countryside to the east.

El Cable

El Cable beach is approximately 400m long. It is situated to the east of the Fishing Port whose breakwater bounds the beach. This beach is very busy as it is a popular destination for summer holiday visitors, it has slightly less Marbella glamour than other beaches in Marbella. It is a popular spot for younger people. It is a wide beach and does not have a paseo maritimo yet.

Foreign Consulates in Andalucia

With so many tourists visiting southern Spain every year, it is hardly surprising that the area has a large number of foreign consulates. For your reference, we have included a list of some of them below. Remember most consulates are only open to the public in the morning.

Arab Baths

One of the most relaxing traditions of Arab Spain are the baths, or “hammam” as they are called in Arabic. With so many years of moorish rule and culture, the city of Granada was a natural starting point for the return of this long lost custom.

Seville City Archaeological Museum

One of the best museums of its kind in Spain, located in the Maria Luisa Park and originally built as part of the 1929 exhibition. The focus is on the Romans, but there is also a prehistoric section which includes the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. Later, the Phoenicians, the Greeks and the Carthaginians all traded and settled in what is now the province of Seville.

Live Bands

Local dance bands are always a main entertainment feature of local festivals and at the Summer Feria. The 'Caseta Municipal' at the feria will have a number of live local and national acts. There is not usually an entrance fee but the caseta fill quickly for well known artists.
