Handy for the A44 Bailen-Motril motorway, this modern hotel complex was built in 2004 and has an impressive double-height entrance lobby with vaulted ceiling. The decor is themed around olives, with custom-made chandeliers and large murals depicting Jaen’s key crop.

This two-star hotel offers 54 simple but stylish rooms with minibar and TV with satellite channels; those on the upper floors at the front (some of which have balconies) have good city views, while the rooms at the back are quieter. Bathrooms are bright and cheerful, in orange or purple. Free WIFI is available throughout the hotel.

AC Hotel Huelva by Marriot

The 65 guest rooms of the AC Hotel Huelva by Marriott have safes, minibars and black marble bathrooms with glass sinks, with cots and extra beds available; there is free WIFI throughout the hotel. The hotel lounge and restaurant have elegant retro tubular steel chairs - there is a mini-store where you can buy drinks and snacks in the spacious reception, bathed in natural light thanks to huge windows.

This city centre four-star hotel, with a distinctive 1960s façade, offers 107 bright modern guest rooms with wooden floors, minibar, choice of pillows and WIFI, as well as a balcony in most rooms; there are triples, junior suites and one suite. Rooms on the higher floors have the best views of the river and the Columbus Monument.
