Museo Interactivo de la musica malaga - MIMMA
Inaugurated in 2002, the MIMMA is located in the historic centre of Malaga and houses one of Europe's most comprehensive private collections of musical instruments. The collection is compiled of over 400 instruments from different periods, countries and cultures.
The museum surrounds visitors with sounds and uses the latest technology to make the entire experience interactive, with the aim of giving an introduction to music. Guests are strongly encouraged to participate in the exhibitions that showcase all aspects of music, through 'Please Play' panels and other interactive displays.
The museum also runs children's activities on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 12.00 hrs. The activities are all musical learning based and range from theater and music workshops, to storytellings and more. (Price: 3€ for Activity + Museum Guided Visit)
