Pruna

La Granjuela

One of La Granjuela's most attractive offerings to visitors is its food, in particular its speciality of suckling pig. Unfortunately, the village was largely destroyed during the Civil War, so almost no historical buildings remain. The village now has around 470 inhabitants.

Rociana del Condado

Rociana del Condado is situated within the Comarca El Condado. Like its neighbouring villages, it thrives on agriculture, mainly strawberries, raspberries and grapes for the local wine. It has about 7600 inhabitants.

Festival de la Luna Mora

People - David Roberts


David Roberts (1796 - 1864) was a Scottish painter. He is especially known for a prolific series of detailed lithograph prints of the Near East that he produced from sketches he made during long tours of the region from 1838 to 1840.

Ermita de San Marcos

The chapel is situated next to the cemetery and on the day of its festival, roscos (rings of bread) are made and distributed among the people, and many fireworks are set off when the procession departs. The route runs from the church to the chapel. There, it circles the chapel and returns to the church again. Located on Camino de San Marcos.

Alcalá del Río

Alcalá del Río is an ideal location to visit during Semana Santa (Holy Week) where the town's celebrations have been declared of National Tourist Interest. It has about 11, 800 inhabitants.

Chackra

According to ancient texts, the seven chakras are located in the following areas: the first is near the anus, the second is near the genitals, the third is near the navel, the fourth is in the centre of the chest, the fifth is in the throat, the sixth is in the brow or the third eye, and the seventh is at the top of the head.

Grand Staircase of Casa de Pilatos

The single grand staircase to the top floor Winter Palace is decorated with tiles and a cupola ceiling of Mudéjar honeycomb, made by Cristobal Sanchez and inspired by the Ambassador's Hall in the Alcazar. It was Seville's first magnificent staircase, and one of the most original in Europe at the time.
