Naval Base

The construction of the Rotal Naval Station, also known as NAVSTA Rota, began under the supervision of the Naval Office of Shipyards and Ports in 1953. The base then consisted of more than 6,100 acres of land on the north side of the Bay of Cádiz between towns of Rota and El Puerto de Santa María.

Cabalgata de Reyes de Higuera de la Sierra

Return service at 08.15 and 18.45. Aditionally there are six services a day between Conil and Atlanterra.

There is a local bus from Cadiz and Seville to Atlanterra calling at Conil. For destinations such as Tarifa, Algeciras, Estepona, Marbella or Malaga you would need to change at Conil.

Los Tres Jardines park

Parque de los Tres Jardines (Three Gardens Park) in San Pedro de Alcántara was opened in October 2012 and it is located in the low lying flood plains of the River Guadaliza to the east of the town on the site of an old nursery.
