Abantal restaurant Seville

Abantal Michelin one-star restaurant is located just outside the historic centre of Seville and offers delightful, innovative gastronomic dishes created by chef Julio Fernández Quintero. The restaurant itself seats 28 diners at a time, but can accomodate up to 55 for group bookings and special events planned in advance.

La Costa

Dating from the 1960s, this restaurant in El Ejido just inland from the Almeria coast, specializes in fabulous fresh fish caught locally, and the vegetables grown in the surrounding area. Chef Jose Alvarez cooks up such delights as millefeuille of El Ejido courgette, liver, boletus and mi-cui, and carpaccio of red prawns from Almeria with olives and extra virgin oil.

Choco

Kisko Garcia's restaurant Choco in Cordoba city offers authentic Andalusian cuisine with the chef's own unique style and twist. There is a clear focus on creativity by the head chef and his team, reflected in the dishes which are a combination of traditional and modern elemnts of well known plates in the region.

Noor restaurant Córdoba

Chef Paco Morales conjures up dishes in Noor in Cordoba from Andalucia's long multicultural history - cocina andalusi. He was awarded a Michelin star in 2016, followed by a second star in 2019. His passion is the region's forgotten gastronomic heritage, focusing on the Arab period in the 10th century when Cordoban caliphate was at the peak of its power.

LÚ Cocina y Alma

At this innovative two-Michelin-star restaurant in the heart of Jerez. Juan Luis Fernández (Juanlu), who worked as head chef at three-Michelin-starred Aponiente in El Puerto de Santa Maria for 10 years, offers two avant-garde tasting menus (70 and 90 euros) with optional wine pairings. Note that there is no à la carte menu.

Michelin Star Restaurants in Andalucia

The region has 30 restaurants boasting the highly-coveted recognition from the French gastronomic bible. In total, as of the 2026 guide published in November 2025, Andalucian has 24 one-Michelin-starred restaurants, four boasting two stars, and two with three stars - the top accolade.

Alevante

Alevante won its second Michelin star in 2024, seven years after the first in 2017, when Gastronomic Director Angel Leon achieved his third star for Aponiente in El Puerto de Santa Maria. The menu at Alevante is based on the most successful dishes from Aponiente, with two tasting menus of 12 and 15 dishes.

Bardal restaurant Ronda

Bardal gained its first Michelin star in November 2017, shortly after opening in July 2016. Just two years later, in November 2019, it moved up to two-star status. Chef Benito Gomez, who is originally from Barcelona, previously worked in La Alqueria, in Hotel Hacienda Benazuza (now closed) in Sanlucar la Mayor (Seville), and before opening Bardal he had another restaurant nearby in Ronda, Tragata.

Jerez is ideally located between the hills and the coast and enjoys the very best of fresh local produce, to which is often added the world famous sherry, brandy and vinegar of Jerez. These are used as main ingredients in many recipes, thus allowing Jerez to provide a surprisingly varied cuisine of the highest quality.
