Mirador del Puerto
Overlooking the fishing port and the yacht Marina is a viewpoint. It is actually the roof of some fishing industry stores. As well as views of the lighthouse, fishing port, board yard and the yachting marina, the mirador features a small number of seats and benches in an interesting minimalist style. Its a popular photo point.
A cafe and ice cream kiosk was intalled in the Mirador in the summer from 2012 until 2020. The mirador is only a very short walk to the bars and restaurants of the Marina.
Embarcadero Cafe was established here in November 2023.
The Mirador is on the route of the Senda Literal, the Malaga coastal footpath.
It is a popular stopping point on a walk along the seafront promenade and on to the Marina and forms part of the Malaga coastal path.
