King's Bastion Leisure Centre
The military fortress used in the late 18th century was transformed in 2008 and recently refurbished in 2022. The underground vault containing the tomb of Major General Sir Robert Boyd was preserved in the foundations of this facility, a memorial stone can be found upon entry.
It contains a two screen cinema, an arcade, a six lane bowling alley, rock boulder park, fitness gym, the cannonball store for collectable toys & gifts, a kids soft play area and a large events arena.
