Casa Palacio Maria Luisa ( Formerly Hotel Palacio Garvey)

Small 19th-century converted palace with hip feel in the historic quarter close to bars, restaurants and shops. This intimate four-star hotel is housed in what was formerly the residence of the Garvey family, one of Jerez's great sherry dynasties of Irish origin - they started the (appropriately-named) Bodega San Patricio. Museo de Málaga

The Museo de Málaga, which was actually constituted in 1973, opened on 12 December 2016 in the impressive Palacio de la Aduana. It has brought together the former Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes (Provincial Museum of Fine Arts) and Museo Arqueológico Provincial. Málaga now joins Almería, Cádiz, Huelva and Jaén in having a "provincial museum" in their respective capital cities; while Seville, Córdoba and Granada have separate fine arts and archaeological museums.

Mairena del Alcor

Mairena del Alcor holds the well known, Festival de Cante Jondo Antonio Mairena, which has been celebrated here since 1962, and has become one of the most important in all of Andalusia. Many artists and flamenco lovers come here to take part in the celebrations. It has about 23, 000 inhabitants.

Basilica & Museum of Santa Maria La Victoria
