Watchtowers in Torre del Mar

This gives the area a varied landscape of fertile agriculture and mountain upland, topped by the limestone outcrops of the Sierra Prieta and La Ventanilla.

Iglesia de Santa María

The church was burned during the Moorish revolution in 1570 and its reconstruction began on January 1, 1600, but was not completed until 1734. It is believed to be in the late Gothic style with a Mudejar coffered ceiling.
