La Siesta is a purpose-built golf course located in Calahonda. Although a private club, visitors are welcome.

Enrique Canales designed the course, which presents the variety of a much longer course. The 7th hole may require a wood to reach the green. After your round enjoy the sea views from the clubhouse.

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Anunciación

The church was built in the sixteenth century on the site of a mosque, which survived until the General Conversion of 1500. After this, the mosque was adapted for Christian worship. It was later demolished to make way for a new, permanent church.

La Puebla de los Infantes

La Puebla de los Infantes is very well known within the hunting community due to it being home to one of the most important caza mayor (large game) hunting reserves in Spain, El Coto de El Aguila. It has about 3,100 inhabitants.

Club Zaudín Golf

Casa Morisca

This three-star hotel was originally a morisco residence – Moors who stayed on after the Christian reconquest by the Catholic monarchs, Ferdinand and Isabella. With just 14 rooms, the beautifully restored Granada house epitomises the intimate atmosphere of the Albaicin, with its narrow streets and centuries-old houses. The interior courtyard has a morisco pool which dates from when the house was first built.

La Casa de la Ciencia

La Casa de la Ciencia (the House of Science) in Seville is both a museum and a centre for scientific study and research. The Peruvian Pavilion for the 1929 Expo now houses the Andalucian regional headquarters of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, or Spanish National Research Council), the third-largest public research institution in Europe.

Castilleja del Campo

The roots of Castilleja del Campo, as shown by the tombs, mosaics and clay work found in the area, stem from the Roman era. This town was also a key defensive point during the Christian raids in the Muslim period.

Santiponce

Santiponce is home to the Roman ruins of Itálica, which are probably the best-known features of the area. The town is also part of two important routes: the Ruta de la Plata and the Ruta Bética Romana. It has about 8,400 inhabitants.
