There is only one course in Antequera and that is the aptly named Antequera Golf course. The course at 650 metres above sea level is situated between the Torcal mountains and La Vega de Antequera plains.

The origin of the name is thought to have come from a nineteenth-century family, however, it has also been suggested that it originates from a Captain Gallardo.

San Silvestre de Guzmán is located southwest of El Andévalo, along the Guadiana River. It has Villa blanca to its south and Villanuva de los Castillejos to its north. It has 755 inhabitants.
