Sorbas

Sorbas, also known as Cuenca la Chica, is an extremely impressive village. It is located on a small plateau over the Río Aguas, and its white houses are almost suspended over the ravine. It has around 2300 inhabitants. Several prehistoric settlements dating from the Neolithic and Metal Ages have been found in Sorbas. Some found in the town centre at the beginning of the twentieth century have been dated as far back as the Bronze Age.

Valverde del Camino

Valverde del Camino is at the very east side of El Andevalo. Most famously known nationally and internationally for the manufacturing of Spanish vaquero-style leather riding boots, it still has many workshops designing leather boots and shoes of all styles as well as belts, bags and other leather products. It has 12, 615 inhabitants.

La Zagaleta golf - Los Barrancos

If you are invited to play this strictly private, 18-hole course, the second at La Zagaleta, accept immediately. Nestling in the mountains of the Serranía de Ronda and blending in perfectly with the natural environment, it was created by moving two million cubic metres of rock and earth and constructing a tunnel to reach the new clubhouse.

Espiel

Espiel is an ideal destination for climbers, a 45-minute walk from the peak of the Sierra del Castillo; one of the most beautiful and popular climbing zones in Andalucía. The small city has almost 2500 inhabitants.

Manzanilla

Manzanilla is situated east of the Comarca El Condado surrounded by agricultural land, mainly vine, all to which goes to producing local wines from the Condado. It has about 2300 inhabitants.

Cueva de la Tía Micaela

This cave shelter was excavated at the end of the tenth or beginning of the eleventh century.

Beas de Granada

An old legend still attracts treasure seekers to Beas de Granada where it is said a wealthy merchant once hid his fortune before heading off to war. In reality, it is believed he hid his wealth in one of two identical statues, one of which was torn down in the search for the treasure. It seems the remaining statue was somehow able to prove its innocence without having to be toppled over.
