Paymogo

Paymogo is located west of the province of Huelva, only several kilometres from Rio Chança, the natural border between Spain and Portugal. To the east is Santa Bárbara de Casa and south is Puebla de Guzmán. Paymogo has approximately 1290 inhabitants.

It is suggested that Paymogo was formed in the middle of the thirteenth century when it was conquered by the Templars, who came to the peninsula from the Holy Land during the mid-twelfth century.

Casa del Poeta

osé Ángel Valente Docasar was a Spanish poet, essayist and translator of Galician origin who lived a large part of his life in the city of Almeria. He won numerous awards for his extensive work, such as the National Poetry Prize in 1993 and the Reina Sofía Prize for Ibero-American Poetry in 1998.

Estepona Mural - Fundacion Antonia Guerrero

‘Fundacion Antonia Guerrero' (Antonia Guerrero Foundation) is by Joaquín Fabian Aguilera Diaz and was inaugurated in October 2013. It is a tribute to Antonia Guerrero and in recognition of her work to improve the education of women in Estepona. It is created in paint and relief and it depicts a girl going up the stairs of Los Remedios church. The doves which can be seen at the topic the mural represent the liberation and freedom for women.
