Ermita de San Blas

Built in the late 18th century on the outskirts of town along the Camino Real (now Calle Albayzín), the chapel sat on the route from Granada to the Alpujarra region. Iglesia de Santa María

Ceuta See & Do - Arab Baths

Gay Scene

Torremolinos has long had a vibrant gay scene and it has always been one of the most openly gay-friendly towns in Spain. Palacio del Marqués de Salvatierra

Across the cuesta from the Casa del Rey Moro, the Palacio of the Marqués de Salvatierra family opens irregularly as a small museum of Renaissance art and artefacts. The Palacio is an 18th century renovation of an earlier 16th century building gifted to the family of Don Vasco Martín de Salvatierra by the Reyes Catolicos when they redistributed the spoils of the Reconquest.

Casa de la Cultura y Museo Mineralógico

The large municipal building holds some of the cultural events of Valverde del Camino. The ground floor has an exhibition hall whereas the upper floor is equipped with a library, boardroom and historical archives.

Villanueva del Río y Minas - Minas de la Reunion

The mining basin is comprised of a huge hypogenic mass running NW to SE. Its southern edge is in contact with a more recent formation which is the base of the coal deposit. In this basin, coal sediments are broken down into three groups: base gaps, production face and ceiling conglomerates.
