Dos Lunas polo club
Club de Polo Dos Lunas is a polo club located in in San Martín del Tesorillo near Sotogrande specializing in dressage and polo. It focuses its activity on preparing horses for top-level competition. It has its own polo fields with 34 boxes available for two teams during the summer Polo season or for practice time in winter season.
Polo Dos Lunas has two polo fields, one of 287 x 115 meters and another of 265 x 135 meters, maintained by Alejandro Battra and Luis Almerich respectively.
Surrounding the polo fields are two twining grounds, the biggest all-weather tracks in Europe using technology from the German firm Dammam. The club facilities include 54 individual half-shaded pens of 8×4 meters size. The club also has two grass practice fields and an all-weather exercise ground measuring 90 x 50 meters meets the international show jumping regulations with exterior enclosure allowing for the practical use of 3 verses 3.
