Palacio de Congresos de Cádiz
This conference centre has 11 rooms with a total floor space of 5.040 square metres and capacity for 1778 people. The largest room has a floor space of 1130 square metres and a capacity of 903 people.
The Palacio de Congresos was built using the structures of the Real Fábrica de Tabacos de Cádiz, originally founded by Felipe V on the same site as the city's old warehouse. The original three-storey building was built in 1883 on top of this structure, with an independent irregular floor plan.
The result is a spectacular brick building clad in glazed ceramics, with some details reminiscent of English factories on the one hand, and a traditionalist evocation on the other, which allows it to blend perfectly with the 18th-century style of the city. Inside there are some interesting iron structures, the most notable of which are the patio and a large iron and glass roof.
The Palacio de Congresos de Cádiz is located in the historic centre, close to the train station, the port and the business district. The building is divided into three floors, and its various rooms are used for all types of events, congresses, conferences, exhibitions..
