Vejer de la Frontera
Vejer de la Frontera is located off the N-340 Costal road between the cities of Cádiz and Algeciras. It is at the south of the A-48 autovia south from Cadiz. Take the exit at kilometre 36 and follow the signs to the hill top town up the A-2229. There is a secondary entrance (also A-2229) up a narrow road from the N-340 a few km forther south at an area of roadside ventas / restaurants called La Barca de Vejer by the river Barbate.
If you are flying in to Malaga Airport you have two bus options.
If your plane arrives too late for the last bus to Algeciras, you would need to take the cercanias train or airport bus from Malaga Airport to the Malaga city Bus Station, and stay overnight in a hotel near the Malaga City Bus Station and then catch the direct bus in the morning.
There is a Comes bus company agent's office in a shop on Plazuela in Vejer.
A local urban bus runs hourly around the village and down to La Barca de Vejer.
For further afield you have to walk (20min) or take a taxi or urban bus down the hill to La Barca de Vejer on the N-340.
