Buses from Malaga's Main Bus Station

The main bus and coach station is located just to the west of the centre of town, next to the Train Station. There are also coaches from here to Costa del Sol and Andalucia.

Bus Malaga to Madrid

Interbus (was Daibus) now part of Damas operates a daily bus service from Algeciras to Madrid. Departing Algeciras Bus station at 21.00 hrs arriving at Madrid Estación Sur at 06.00 hrs. The return departing Madrid Estacion Sur at 22.00 hrs and arriving in Algeciras Bus Station at 06.05 hrs. Price is 21.57€ one way. There are additional services in the summer. Bus typically calls to pick up at Algeciras (Bus Station), Algeciras (Port), La Linea, Estepona, Marbella, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Malaga and Madrid (Estacion Sur). There are additional daily services from Marbella and Malaga in the summer.

Bus Malaga to Barcelona

Alsa serve Barcelona direct from Aleciras Bus station (departing 18.30 hrs) and Algeciras Port (departing 18.30 hrs) arriving at Barcelona, Estacio d' Autobusos Nord at 12.30 hrs next day. The Barcelona to Algeciras direct service departs at 12.00 hrs and arrives Algeciras Port at 07.00 and Algeciras Bus Station at 07.15 hrs.at 07.00 hrs. It is an 18 hour journey! Price 111€ single. Buses stop in Andalucia depending on service at Granada, Guadix, Baza, Cullar Baza, Velez Rubio.

There is also direct Malaga to Barcelona service twice a day plus several more with changes. Departing Malaga at 08.00, 14.15, 21.30 hrs and departing Barcelona at 07.00 and 12.00.

BUS Malaga TO BILBAO

Socibus operate daily from from Malaga (Bus Station) to Bilbao. Single 52€. Departs Malaga at 10.00 hrs and arrives Cordoba 11.41 and Bilbao 21.40 hrs. Departs Bilbao 09.00 arrives Cordoba 19.00 and Malaga 20.40 hrs. Stops at Cordoba, Almuradiel, Manzanares, Vitoria. A second service operates on Friday and Sunday that departs Malaga at 20.00 hrs and arrives Cordoba at 21.41 and Bilbao 07.40 hrs. Departs Bilbao 21.00 arrives Cordoba 07.00 and Malaga 08.40 hrs.

BUS Malaga TO Irun

Socibus operate a daily from from Algeciras (Bus Station) to Irun (French border) via Costa de la Luz stopping at Tarifa, San Fernando, Cadiz, Puerto de Santa Maria, Jerez de la Frontera, Sevilla, Ecija, Cordoba, Andujar, Almuradiel, Manzanares, Aranda de Duero, Burgos, Miranda de Ebro, Vitoria, Bilbao, Eibar, San Sebastian, Irun. Journey 18hrs cost about 72€ single. Depart Irun at 19.00 arrive Algeciras at 14.25 hrs and depart Algeciras at 17.00 and arrive Irun at 11.20 hrs. In summer ( 1 May to 10 Oct ) a second service departs Irun at 07.00 arrives Algeciras at 01.35 hrs and departs Algeciras at 06.15 and arrive Irun at 00.50 hrs. -->
