El Festival de Rock del Zaidín, Granada is Europe’s longest-running free rock festival. Takes place at the venue between Los Cármenes Stadium and the Palacio de los Deportes, in Granada’s Zaidín neighbourhood. It’s a free event and open to everyone.

El Festival de Rock del Zaidín, Granada - 11th to 13th September 2025
The 2025 edition was be the 43rd edition Zaidin Rock which is the longest running free admission Rock Festival in Spain (and probably Europe). Location is the esplanade between Estadio Los Carmenes and the Palacio de Deporte in Zaidin district of Granada city. Free entrance, starts at 21.00 hrs. Granada band 091, returned as headline after the rain cancellation last year.

The 42nd edition of the Zaidín Rock Festival took place from 5 to 7 September 2024 in its traditional setting on the open grounds next to the Palacio de Deportes in Granada's Zaidín neighborhood, celebrating a free-entry lineup steeped in local "granaíno" talent. The three-day music showcase opened on Thursday, 5 September, with performances by fusion favorites Eskorzo, veteran singer Javier Ojeda, urban artist El Niño del Albayzín, and Inés y los Inesperados. Friday, 6 September, highlighted a headline performance by singer-songwriter El Kanka alongside El Sombrero del Abuelo, JavyPablo, Elsa Bhör, and Gamberra. The festival was due to concluded on Saturday, 7 September, with a historic night featuring legendary Granada rock band 091 making their long-awaited return to the Zaidín stage after 30 years.Unfortunately the Saturday night was cancelled due to exceptionally heavy drought releiving storms in southern Spain. Local indie pioneers Niños Mutantes were supporting 091 on their final farewell tour, and other supporting sets from Los 300, Mente Fría, and Virginias were also cancelled.

Friday: @mclanrock, @lafronteramusic, @trashtucada, @hispanicvenom, @elliotgrx. Saturday @dani_macaco, @sonidovegetal, @lasdianas_, @amigasexclamacion, @desertoresdelarao. Zaidin Rock was founded in 1983 and still run by the local neighbourhood association. Previous editions 8th and 9th September 2023.
