Churriana de la Vega
Churriana de la Vega is a village known as the 'lungs of Granada', thanks to its natural environment. Visitors can enjoy the ancient Arabic hammam baths, which have been designated a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC). The village has a population of around 9,500.
History
The first written historical sources to explicitly mention Churriana date from the Middle Ages, when the area was dedicated to intensive agricultural production and a thriving silk industry. Evidence of Churriana's Hispano-Muslim cultural heritage is still evident today in the form of an Arab bath, or hammam, located next to the town’s main irrigation channel, the Arabuleila. More>

Baños Árabes
The Arab Baths are located inside a house near the Arabuleila irrigation channel, which supplied them with water. The building is typical of the design of Arab baths in the Nasrid rural world and consists of a series of rectangular rooms, each with a specific purpose. Documented rooms include the warm room (bayt al-wastani) and the hot room (bayt al-sajun), as well as a third room that may have served as a vestibule. More>
