Here is an informative page regarding taxis in Estepona. Estepona Taxi are white in colour with the oficial logo on the side door. They also bear the small 'SP' plate. A taxi with a green light on the roof is available for hire. It is not normal to hail a taxi on the street in Estepona. Either book one by telephone of go to a taxi rank.

Taxi Ranks

There are taxi ranks located:

Avenida España just east of Calle de la Terraza.
Avenida Juan Carlos I near Avenida de Espana (seafront)
Entrance to the Marina oposite bullring
Next to Bus Station on Avenida Literal.

Taxi fares within Estepona

Below is a table showing taxi tariffs for Estepona. There are five fare bands in total. Fare Band seven and eight   are for 'inter urbano' or journeys outside Estepona town, such as from Estepona to San Pedro, Marbella or the airport.  Fare band Three, Four and Five are for waiting times at different times. The tarif band in use is displayed on the taxi meter and on the roof of the taxi in red.
