There are regular national flights to Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Sevilla, Melilla. There are also regular International flights to London Gatwick, Stanstead, Munich, and Dusseldorf. Almeria airport recorded 691,488 pasenger movements in 2015 and 10,277 aircraft movements.
Almería airport is located about 10 Kilometres east of the city centre at the end of a dual carriage way the AL-12. There is also signed access from the 'Autovia del Mediterranoe' A7 which passes a few km inland. For those returning a hire car, a petrol station is marked on the map and is located about 1km from the airport.

BUS SERVICES TO ALMERIA CITY
Local bus line L-20 links the airport with Ccalle Doctor Gregorio Maranon to the north-east of the city centre. The price of a single ticket is 1 Euro. There are busses every half hour in the day and every three quarters of an hour in the evening. The first bus leaves the airport at 07.33 and the last at 22.33. Download a PDF of the timetable here.

The nearest hotels are either in Almeria city about 6km to the west or in the small resort of Retamar about 4km to the east. Whilst retamar does not have the range of hotels or facilities of the city it is closer and there is little traffic. Use the search box below to find a hotel.
