Torremolinos Bus
The Estacion de Autobus (bus station (95 238 24 19) in Torremolinos is not a bus station but a bus lay- by on Calle Hoyo 8 oposite the Hospital de Dia and near the junction with Plaza de las Añpujjaras. There is a small kiosk to purchase tickets. There are regular buses to most of the main Coast de Sol towns, including Benalmádena, Fuengirola and Marbella. The bus station is situated on a one-way street, so some buses to Malaga may bypass it and travel along Calle de la Cruz, the next street closer to the coast.
You can also catch buses from here to other main cities and villages in Andalucia such as Granada, Seville and Cordoba which are served by a daily service. For more frequent buses, take a bus to Malaga and travel from Malaga bus station.

The return departing Madrid Estacion Sur at 22.00 hrs and arriving in Algeciras Bus Station at 06.05 hrs. Price is 21.57€ one way. There are additional services in the summer. Bus typically calls to pick up at Algeciras (Bus Station), Algeciras (Port), La Linea, Estepona, Marbella, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Malaga and Madrid (Estacion Sur). There are additional daily services from Marbella and Malaga in the summer. |

Alsa serve Barcelona direct from Aleciras Bus station (departing 18.30 hrs) and Algeciras Port (departing 18.30 hrs) arriving at Barcelona, Estacio d' Autobusos Nord at 12.30 hrs next day. The Barcelona to Algeciras direct service departs at 12.00 hrs and arrives Algeciras Port at 07.00 and Algeciras Bus Station at 07.15 hrs.at 07.00 hrs. It is an 18 hour journey! Price 111€ single. Buses stop in Andalucia depending on service at Granada, Guadix, Baza, Cullar Baza, Velez Rubio. There is also direct Malaga to Barcelona service twice a day plus several more with changes. Departing Malaga at 08.00, 14.15, 21.30 hrs and departing Barcelona at 07.00 and 12.00. |
